Nurse Advice Line
AltaMed offers a 24-hour nurse advice line. Registered nurses are available to answer your questions and give you advice on where to go and what to do about an earache, sore throat, cough, cold, flu or other symptoms. Learn more.
Urgent Care Facilities
AltaMed now offers its managed care members access to Urgent Care facilities. Call us after regular clinic hours and your call will be routed to an on-call provider who may refer you, as necessary, to one of our contracted Urgent Care centers. List of AltaMed Urgent Care facilities.

Health Information Exchange (HIE)
AltaMed’s locations participate in the OCPHRIO Health Information Exchange (HIE), a collaboration among health care providers that allows patient records to be easily accessed by providers across California. If you choose to participate in HIE, any doctors, pharmacies, and laboratories you visit will have access to a more complete health record, allowing you to receive more efficient, effective care.
