Robert “Bob” Turner joined AltaMed Health Services as Vice-President of Human Resources after serving a short stint as a consultant with the organization in 2009. Mr. Turner is responsible for the full range of Human Resources activities in the company including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, learning and leadership development and the HR information systems (HRIS).

Since joining AltaMed, Mr. Turner and his team have been successful in bringing many advances to the company such as implementing electronic Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and an Information System (HRIS).  He has also implemented bi-annual Employee Survey with exit interview and new hire component, an Internet-based service award program and a successful employee referral program.

Mr. Turner has a Bachelors’ of Arts degree in Political Science from Ripon College, a Masters’ degree in International Relations from Brown University, a Masters’ in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and a Doctorate in Management from  Pacific Western University.
