Jacqueline Ritacco serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for AltaMed Health Services, with oversight of Organizational Effectiveness, Marketing, Compliance, Board Recruitment and Development.
Previously, she served as the Vice President of Government Relations at AltaMed for six years. Prior to joining AltaMed, Dr. Ritacco was Chief Executive Officer for Community Care Health Centers in Orange County for over 20 years. As a one-time president of the Coalition of Orange County Community Clinics, and a member of the Orange County Maternal Child and Adolescent Health Advisory Committee and many other boards and task forces, her focus has remained on the delivery of health care to underserved and uninsured individuals.
Dr. Ritacco earned a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University. She also holds certifications in Human Resource Management, Nonprofit Executive Management and Nonprofit Strategic Management, and is a published author in the areas of coaching, management and leadership development.
Dr. Ritacco has worked closely with CalOptima, the county-organized health system for Medi-Cal beneficiaries, and is a previous two-term member of the Board of Directors, having served as Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee. She currently holds a position on the Board of Directors of the California Primary Care Association, and is actively involved with policy and legislative development in the State of California.
Dr. Ritacco enjoys singing and playing piano. She spent many years in rock and roll bands prior to ‘real’ adulthood.
