Henry A. Holguin serves as General Counsel to AltaMed Health Services Corporation. He previously was a partner of Kelly, Lytton & Williams, LLP, a boutique law firm dealing with business, health care, real estate, land use and governmental relations. In 1983, Mr. Holguin co-founded the firm of Miller & Holguin, Attorneys at Law in 2006. Formerly, Mr. Holguin was Senior Staff Counsel of the Enforcement Division of the California Department of Corporations.
Mr. Holguin received a Certificate in International Economics at Cambridge University, England in 1971, a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1973, and his law degree from the University of California at Davis in 1976. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1976, and is admitted to practice before the United States Central District Court of California and the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Holguin formerly served on the California State Bar Franchise Legislation Committee. He was previously involved with the formation of the United States/Mexico Commercial Arbitration Committee under NAFTA. He has been a member of the Latin Business Association, California Association of Dental Plans and California Society of Health Care Attorneys. He serves on the Board of Health for Peace, a charitable non-profit entity since 2005.
